- Except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to any third party, any personal information collected through our website. We may share some of the personal information with affiliated entities of the Fox in a Box group (“Affiliates”) that apply the same or similar data protection standards.

- We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you. We have collated these into groups as follows:

- Marketing data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us; communication preferences; responses and actions in relation to your use of our services.
- Camera pictures: In our rooms we are operating a surveillance camera system which is used to supervise the games and to watch for your safety. We are not recording or storing videos and we are not allowing any third parties to have recordings from our customers.
- Pictures after the game: We’re taking group pictures of the players after the game and upload it to social media platform (such as Facebook) and/or send it over to you by email. If you don’t want your team picture to be uploaded to Facebook, please, inform the game master on site.
- Game logs: We are collecting data about the games through a controller system which is connected to the Fox In A Box special proprietary systems in the rooms. We can track when you have started and finished the game, which doors have been opened, which game(s) have been solved, etc. We connect this database with our reservation system, so we now if there is a game in the room which doesn’t have a reservation. We use this game logs to supervise the number of the games and make statistics about them.
- FOX HUNT IGRE: We may collect data about your geographical location as provided to us by your mobile phone and the actions you take and challenges you complete in the games and applications, that you use outside of the Franchise outlet.
- Social media: We may collect other data that you submit via our social media accounts as well as other means of communication. For example, we may collect personal data when you provide feedback or when you participate in interactive features such as surveys, contests, or promotions.
- Newsletter: In case you subscribe to our newsletter, our Franchisees are operating third parties services used to manage the sending of the newsletter. While these third parties don’t have access to your data, it is nonetheless hosted on their platform.
- We may aggregate anonymous data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Anonymous data is data that does not identify you as an individual. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal information in law because it does not reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate profile data to assess interest in a product or service. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your personal information so that it can identify you in any way, we treat the combined data as personal information and it will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.
- We are storing the following data to perform our contractual relationship, fulfil your reservation and to prepare statistics and bookkeeping:
- price of the game
- number of the players
- number of guests
- pay type (bank card, on the spot, etc.)
- various information about your booking (time, cancelation, additional requests, etc.)
- We are not storing any kind of personal information regarding payments on our system, we use payment service providers in this respect. Security of the information storing is the responsibility of the payment services providers who are controlled under PCI compliance standards.
- Before you start any kind of game experience created by us, for marketing purposes and for proving that you have understood the rules and rights in connection with our services, we are asking you to sign a waiver on site. This waiver might contain questions in connection with your personal and non-personal information.
- We collect the above mentioned personal information from you when you fill out the form or enter your personal data on our website or at our rooms to fulfill our contractual obligations with you and provide you the best gaming and costumer experience. We also have an own reservation system in which the above mentioned (personal) information might be stored so we can prepare for your reservation. This reservation system is secured and is not and will be not disclosed to any third party except for our Affiliates or where so instructed by a court of public authority under mandatory law.

3. If you do not provide personal information we need
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to provide you with our services.

When you make a registration/reservation on our website for a game, buy a service from us, or otherwise agree to our terms and conditions, a contract is formed between you and us.

- provide you with our services

We are transferring data to our contractual partners who provide technical support to maintain our worldwide booking system (Nitronwise Kft, Budapest, Hungary, Softtronic DOO, Senta, Serbia and Themes Kingdom, Novi Sad, Serbia) which data transfer may include personal information. We and – to our knowledge – our abovementioned partners is each processing this data with the highest level of safety and fully in line with GDPR.
- Data may be processed outside the European Union
We may also use outsourced services in countries outside the European Union from time to time in other aspects of our business.
Accordingly, data obtained in your country could be processed outside the European Union.
For example, some of the software our website uses may have been developed in Serbia, United States of America or in Australia.
We use the following safeguards with respect to data transferred outside the European Union:
- the processor is within the same corporate group as our business or organization and abides by the same binding corporate rules regarding data processing.
- the data protection clauses in our contracts with data processors include transfer clauses written by or approved by a supervisory authority in the European Union.
- Other disclosures
When you submit content in connection with puzzles or otherwise complete a puzzle in a game, your response and location is stored on the map for that game, but only if you have provided permission on your mobile phone. If you are using a public game, this information is made publically available (like our leader boards). If you are using a private game, only the users with access to that game may see this information.
We may disclose your submissions by publicly displaying them, incorporating them into marketing materials, advertisements and allowing other users to distribute the same in connection with their own websites, media platforms, and applications.
Otherwise, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties your personal information unless we provide you with advance consent. This does not include information transfers to our Affiliates, website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
